Jordan's constant question over the past month has been, "Is today a church day?" He gets down in the mouth when I tell him that it's actually a school day. I'm not sure if it's Abby Lee that he loves, or the snacks that he can get his hands on easily, or the freedom of running around Children's Church, or if he has fallen in love with Jesus already, but the child certainly loves church day. I'm hoping that it is his personality, not a development phase.
Aidan and Jordan both love cereal. The last few days there has been a preference for chocolate but fruit rings (or fruit loops as I remember them) took over our table this morning. I started by saying it was like having a rainbow in a bowl. And then Aidan started making connections. "Do you think Noah had fruit rings when took all the animals off the boat? Did God give him this to eat after He put the rainbow in the sky? It's delicious!" :)
I took the kids to Fall Fest at Church for Halloween. They had a great time playing games, eating way too much, snacking on donuts on a string, watching movies, and playing with friends. We were very thankful for Fall Fest.
One more cute story from last night. My husband and Jordan were competing for positioning the bed beside me. My husband smiled and cutely said, "She is my wife!" Jordan smiled, continued to wrestle, and replied, "But Daddy, she is my life!" Hansung giggled and whispered to me, "Well said!"
