Color of October

KNU New Kids Fall Harvest Outreach experienced a great afternoon in Samkori Park yesterday. I was inspired by the colors of fall!

Orange,
One of the glorious colors of autumn,
it's unconventional and cold.  
It stimulates mental activity,
is associated with creativity and change.  
Hot but not as aggressive as red,
it represents fun and amusement.  
Traditionally,
it symbolizes strength and endurance.  
It is the the color of fall,
the season of change,
and the harvest,
the season of abundance.

Father God, you have shown me in that Your answers are always creative and unconventional.  I do things in ways I cannot begin to anticipate or imagine.  And these ways of Yours are always right.  If I want to be transformed in your image, I must let go of my resistance to change.  Help me Lord to turn toward You.  To embrace your unexpected ideas and transform into the person You intend for me to be.  To live life with enthusiasm and pleasure.  To find the courage and endurance to walk this road with You for the long term, for life.  Because when I stick with you, I will find abundance.  I will get to see the harvest, the results of the seeds You helped me plant, the lives You changed.  Amen.
