Jordan managed to get himself in more trouble jumping on the bed last weekend.
"Mom, I'm jumping. I'm jumping. I'm jumping!"
"You are not supposed to be jumping!"
(Crash and I hear crying)
"What happened?"
"I hurt my eye!" comes out between screams. He had fallen and his face landed on the bookcase. It was all purple and blue and I was horrified.
Quite a while later I hear him and Aidan expressing regret.
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Another cute Jordan moment that has repeated itself over the past month is this. He will be sitting and watching TV or playing with a toy and suddenly I will hear this.
"Mommy, I like you!"
If I'm not in the same room, he comes looking for me and says it again while touching my arm or hand.
"Mommy, I like you! I love you!"
"I love you too!"
Then its back to whatever activity he was doing before.
We have found dragons in the underground parking area in our apartment complex.
"Did you see that purple dragon?!" (Aidan)
"I did. Oh my! Did you see the pink one?" (Jordan)
"I saw a red one!" (Mom)
"Is it better to be a dragon slayer, a dragon hunter or a dragon tamer?" (Mom)
After pondering that idea for about 10 seconds, Aidan declared that a dragon tamer would be great. Why?
"If I ever get into a fight with somebody, I have a dragon on my side!"
Good thinking!
Justin has been busy with a penmanship book this month. Hansung found a book where you write out a number of Proverbs from the Old Testament to improve your handwriting. It's a great idea that Justin is not really enjoying but he has to do it while Hansung is in Nepal.
"Do I have to do it on my birthday?"
"Let's take a look. Daddy didn't assign any pages on your birthday."
"Is this my birthday present?"
Don't worry! We got him a real present!
