We were driving to the daycare the other day when I heard exclamations from the back seat from Jordan.
"I'm not big!"
"You are a big boy. You are not a baby anymore!"
"I'm not a big boy. I can't swim in the ocean so I'm not a big boy."
"Do you want to swim in the ocean?"
"Yes. When I'm bigger I will swim in the ocean!"
I can't argue with the logic in this one :)
Aidan also had a good moment explaining why the 7:00 Taekwondo class was better than the 5:30 class. "It's the people who make the lesson happy and funny! It's not the lesson!" He was communicating to me that having a fun older brother at Taekwondo helped make the lesson interesting.
Justin has had a few opera moments in the shower as of late. I'm not sure what TV show was promoting the deep voice but it has been very entertaining to say the least. I'm waiting for a full blown song from those lips of his but it hasn't happened yet.
And in other news, we picked a number of talking penguins in the Phillippines at McDonalds. One of those penguins is in my car. He affirms or negates at appropriate points in conversation which is just hilarious. "Are you feeling well today?" The penguin affirms with an 'uh-huh'. He negates quite often at speed bumps. "Uh-uh" meaning I went a little too fast. It's too bad I can't find HIM!
Where o where did that penguin go? :)
